237th HT Coy, RASC

Died in the Aldershot Isolation Hospital at 10.15pm on 15 April 1915. He had been admitted to the hospital on 8 March 1915 suffering from cerebral spinal meningitis.

Slade was buried on the 21 April 1915 at Corsham. His body was brought to Chippenham by train and then conveyed to Corsham by hearse escorted by the Royal Wilts Yeomanry.
