Killed in action

IILt WH Dickson, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, killed on June 7th was a son of the late GH Dickson of Messers Buck and Dickson, Solicitors, Preston. Educated at Cheltenham, he was articled with the firm of which his father was a partner and was, up to the time of joining the forces, in practice as a solicitor at Chippenham. He joined the London Scottish about a year ago and was later attached to an OTC. About six months ago he was gazetted and went to the front some four months later. After only a few weeks service, he was wounded and subsequently rejoined his regiment. His only surviving brother, Capt AN Dickson MD LMS recently received the MC for service East Africa.
