Notes

Son of Charles and Lily Cox, of Culworth, Northamptonshire; husband of Mary Cox, of Chippenham, Wiltshire.

ACC attd 2nd Lothian and Borders Horse, Royal Armoured Corps. At the time of his death, the regiment was serving in North Africa. As Cox is not commemorated on the Alamein Memorial for those killed in North Africa, it would seem that he died "on board a ship, in hospital ships and troop ships"
