Chippenham, Wiltshire.
Took off from Grimsby at 2156 31 July to attack a flying bomb storage
depot in Lancaster LM585. Crashed at 2335 to the NW of Haverskerque, 12km
S of Hazebrouck.

All the crew are buried in Haverskerque cemetery cemetery, the only RAF
